Calendula Soothing Balm
$32Botanical balm · 50 g

Aromatic balm
Two eucalyptus species, because one was never enough.
Globulus for depth and radiata for a softer top note, with rosemary, peppermint and tea tree behind them. Massaged onto the chest or the upper back, it does what a room full of gum trees does on a cold morning.
It is the most assertive thing we make, and the label says so plainly.

Jojoba Simmondsia chinensis
A liquid wax rather than an oil, which is why it sits so quietly on skin and keeps for years.

Shea butter Butyrospermum parkii
Unrefined, melting just under body temperature. It carries the structure of every butter we whip.

Beeswax Cera alba
The firmness dial. Ten percent gives a soft salve, fifteen a firm balm, twenty a solid stick.

Vitamin E Tocopherol
An antioxidant for the oils. It is not a preservative and we never treat it as one.

Eucalyptus Eucalyptus globulus and radiata
Two species, not one. Globulus for depth, radiata for a softer top, both grown here.

Rosemary Rosmarinus officinalis
Sharp and clarifying. Avoid in pregnancy or epilepsy without professional advice.

Peppermint Mentha piperita
Cooling on contact. Kept well away from the face for a reason.

Tea tree Melaleuca alternifolia
Australian, medicinal, and used at a low enough rate that it supports the eucalyptus instead of shouting over it.
Massage a little onto the chest or upper back as desired.
12 months once opened. Anhydrous, so it carries no preservative. Scoop with dry fingers.
Contains natural essential oils. Not for children under six. Keep away from the face, nose and eyes. Avoid in pregnancy, epilepsy or asthma without professional advice.
