Whipped body butter
Geranium keeps the rose from turning powdery.
Rose otto is used at a fraction of a percent. Any more and it stops smelling like a rose and starts smelling like a shop.
Geranium sits underneath it, green and slightly sharp, which is what keeps the whole thing reading fresh.

Shea butter Butyrospermum parkii
Unrefined, melting just under body temperature. It carries the structure of every butter we whip.

Mango butter Mangifera indica
Firmer than shea and almost odourless, which lets the unscented butter stay genuinely unscented.

Fractionated coconut Cocos nucifera
The liquid fraction only. It keeps a whipped butter from setting hard in an Australian winter.

Jojoba Simmondsia chinensis
A liquid wax rather than an oil, which is why it sits so quietly on skin and keeps for years.

Squalane Squalane
Olive derived and fully saturated, so it will not go rancid on your shelf. It is what makes an oil sink instead of sit.

Arrowroot Maranta arundinacea
A pinch of starch. It is the difference between a butter that feels greasy and one that feels finished.

Vitamin E Tocopherol
An antioxidant for the oils. It is not a preservative and we never treat it as one.

Geranium Pelargonium graveolens
Green, rosy, and the reason the rose in that butter reads fresh rather than powdery.

Rose otto Rosa damascena
Distilled rather than extracted. Used at a fraction of a percent because at anything more it stops smelling like a rose.
Massage a small amount into skin as often as needed.
12 months once opened. Anhydrous, so it carries no preservative. Scoop with dry fingers.
Contains natural essential oils. For external use only. Patch test before use.
