Whipped body butter
Dry, resinous, and the only one that reads as woodsmoke.
Cedarwood goes in first, dry and resinous. Sandalwood follows and slows everything down.
It is the butter people buy for someone else and then keep.

Shea butter Butyrospermum parkii
Unrefined, melting just under body temperature. It carries the structure of every butter we whip.

Mango butter Mangifera indica
Firmer than shea and almost odourless, which lets the unscented butter stay genuinely unscented.

Fractionated coconut Cocos nucifera
The liquid fraction only. It keeps a whipped butter from setting hard in an Australian winter.

Jojoba Simmondsia chinensis
A liquid wax rather than an oil, which is why it sits so quietly on skin and keeps for years.

Squalane Squalane
Olive derived and fully saturated, so it will not go rancid on your shelf. It is what makes an oil sink instead of sit.

Arrowroot Maranta arundinacea
A pinch of starch. It is the difference between a butter that feels greasy and one that feels finished.

Vitamin E Tocopherol
An antioxidant for the oils. It is not a preservative and we never treat it as one.

Cedarwood Cedrus atlantica
Dry and resinous. It gives the sandalwood something to lean on.

Sandalwood Santalum album
Slow, warm and quiet. It sits under the cedar rather than beside it.
Massage a small amount into skin as often as needed.
12 months once opened. Anhydrous, so it carries no preservative. Scoop with dry fingers.
Contains natural essential oils. For external use only. Patch test before use.
